Congratulations to our 2016-2017 Drum Major!

Megan Cobb is the 43rd student to be awarded the distinction of serving as the Choctawhatchee Style Marcher Drum Major for the 2016-2017 marching season.

As a military dependent, Megan was born on Eglin Air Force Base.  She moved to New Mexico, Japan, Kansas, Virginia, and Florida, living in this area a total of four different times. She loved moving from place to place but has enjoyed spending her whole high school career at Choctawhatchee High School. She loves the spirit of Choctaw, serving as a Spirit Coordinator for the Class of 2017 for two years. Megan is an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate, the President of French Honor, and a Symphonic Band musician. Outside of school, Megan competes in the hunter jumper discipline of horseback riding.

Continuing her successes in high school, Megan plans on graduating with Honors and pursuing a career in pediatrics with a specialty in children with developmental disabilities.
