The purpose of the Choctawhatchee High School Band Parent Booster Organization is to assist in every way possible to build, develop, support, and maintain a school band organization, and to render moral, physical, and financial support to all elements of the Choctawhatchee High School band. All parents, sponsors and guardians of band students are automatically members of the Organization. Maintaining a thriving band program requires support and funding beyond that provided by the school system. Some specific objectives include the following:
~ Plan and manage concession sales for all organization functions ~ Plan and manage band uniform assignment, care, and inventory ~ Provide funds supporting the purchase of uniforms, music and supplies as requested by the Director ~ Furnish chaperones/volunteers for band events ~ Organize and implement fund raising activities ~ Maintain web site and other methods for sharing information ~ Encourage new parent involvement ~ Stimulate and maintain an enthusiastic interest and support for all phases of the band program. ~ Support and advocate music programs in the public schools

Band Parent Meetings begin at 7:00 pm in the Choctaw Cafeteria (unless differently noted below).
