The Choctawhatchee Band Program cannot run without volunteers. We need regular volunteers to serve on the various Band Booster committees. Below is a brief summary of the areas volunteers are needed on a regular basis. Concessions
Volunteers are needed for all home football games and special hosted events. Concessions is one of the largest separately-managed fund raisers for our band, and we cannot succeed without volunteers.
Uniforms
The Uniform Committee is responsible for fitting, assignment and maintenance of all uniforms as well as the Headdress Clinic. Below are the sub-committees seeking volunteers.
Washing Committee - We have a committee that washes all uniforms. Volunteers are assigned 5-6 uniforms to wash after performances. This is a great way to support the band from home. Volunteers pick-up uniforms on Tuesday and return them on Thursday. Uniforms are machine washable and dryable.
Fitting Committee - We need volunteers to assist in Annual Uniform Fitting.
Headdress Clinic - We need volunteers to assist students during Headdress Clinic. Current Style Marchers can earn volunteer hours by assisting at Headdress Clinic.
Chaperones
Chaperones are needed for any Band Function. Home Games, Away Games, Competitions, etc…
Festivals
We host several festivals during the year as general band fund raisers and need both adult and student volunteers.
Trading Post
During home football games and special events the Trading Post is open to sell Style Marcher items and accessories.
Hospitality
Hospitality supports the students and special events requiring food-related needs.
Ways and Means
Ways and Means is responsible for General Band and Student fund raisers, including Programs. Volunteers are needed for fund raisers and assisting with advertising sales for the Football program and special event programs.
